New vintage of Rosa d’Àmfora ’21 is on sale after 2 years.

Why we have been 2 years without Rosa d’Àmfora?

The reason is because Rosa d’Àmfora is a single vineyard of Grey Carignan, that means a 100% is made exclusive of just one variety of grape. 2020 was a very complicated year for mildew, and that’s why we couldn’t save the harvest of our Grey Carignan (it showed us a very high sensibility of mildew).

Tasting notes:

This year the color is more elevated than the last year. It becomes a salmon color. It has a complex bouquet of citric aromas (more than the last) like blood orange and grapefruit, rose petals and notes of wild strawberry with mineral background. In mouth has unctuousness and breadth, with a fresh acidity and a pleasant and round final of salty notes with a subtle and modest bitterness.
