THE BEGINNING

Born out of a passion for the world of wine, Carme Casacuberta, a graduate in chemical sciences and a professional oenologist, along with my husband Antoni Pena, an industrial engineer with a shared passion for viticulture, faced an exciting challenge in 2002. With a deep love for nature and driven by an unparalleled enthusiasm, we decided to bring our dream to life: to create high-quality wines that fully express the character and personality of their terroir.

Therefore, with an estate located in the natural setting of Olivardots, surrounded by indescribable natural beauty, we realized we had the perfect place to plant our vines. With a total of 4 hectares dedicated to carefully selected varieties, we worked with devotion to ensure that each vine received the proper attention and treatment.

FIRST HARVEST

The year 2006 marked a turning point in our dream when we built our winery. With simple lines and a modern design, the building was conceived with gravity as a working tool, aiming to preserve and enhance the integrity of the grape at every step of the winemaking process.

With dedication, patience, and a profound respect for the environment, we implemented sustainable practices in our winery. From responsible management of well water and the incorporation of energy from solar panels to the use of organic products in vine care, we placed a strong emphasis on preserving biodiversity and the health of our ecosystems.

The result of this shared passion and collective effort can be tasted in every bottle of our wines. With a diverse range of varieties including Grenache in all its versions and Carignans, among others, we managed to blend the richness of our soils, the influence of the Mediterranean climate, and the tramontana wind to produce wines that reflect the personality and essence of our region.

PRESENT

Ten years later, in early 2016, a new generation joined the project, our daughter Carlota Pena. Another passionate oenologist devoted to the vine and wine, who decided to follow in her mother’s footsteps. With her enthusiasm and fresh perspective, she brings new ideas and challenges that drive this enthusiastic family project towards new horizons.
