Vd’O 1 – Carignan 2021

Delicate manual harvest with 8kg boxes and a first selection of grapes in the vineyard.
We cool in a cold room to carry out a second selection with oscillys and grain by grain on the selection table.
Fermentation in stainless steel and manual pigeage, followed by aging for approximately 14 months in French and Austrian oak barrels.

Cherry color with violet reflections.
Intense perfume of black fruit, balsamic and graphite minerality reflecting the soil and the landscape surrounding the plots.
Powerful, elegant palate, with fine tannins and medium intensity. Freshness and acidity predominate towards a hot summer vintage.
