The days of August are advancing and at Vinyes d’Olivardots you can breathe that contained emotion that only comes when the vineyard says “now”. Next Monday we begin the 2025 harvest with the white varieties, and we do so with a feeling of renewed hope.

After a particularly tough 2024 vintage, marked by a strong attack of mildew and the persistent consequences of drought, this year the vineyard speaks to us in a different tone. The intermittent rains of recent months have been a much-needed respite for the vineyard and for us.
Although we are coming from years of very low water reserves, this 2025 brings us healthy, balanced grapes with very good potential.
At Vinyes d’Olivardots, we work 18 hectares of organic and biodynamic vineyards with a very clear philosophy: listening to the land. We care for each vine by hand and harvest each grape with respect, making a double selection —in the vineyard and on the selection table in the cellar— to ensure that only the purest fruit makes it into our wines.

This year, the harvest comes with an added excitement: our new amphora room, with 25 amphorae where projects like the Groc d’Àmfora are born. This way of making connects us with ancestral viticulture, but also with a more conscious way of doing things, less interventionist and more faithful to the character of our Empordà land.
